Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your use of the Christians Palace mobile application ("App"), provided free of charge by the Christians Palace team ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to comply with this Policy.

Christians Palace is a free Christian devotional application for adults, designed to support daily Bible study, Scripture reflection, Bible storytelling, spiritual quizzes, and faith-based puzzles and games. The App is intended for users aged 18 and over and is intended to edify, educate, and encourage adults in their Christian faith journey.

2. Permitted Uses

You may use the App for the following purposes:

Personal devotion — engaging with daily reflections, Scripture readings, and Bible study content for your own spiritual growth.
Educational use — learning about the Bible through stories, quizzes, word-search puzzles, and Scripture typing practice.
Family and group study — sharing content from the App with family members, small groups, or church communities for devotional or educational purposes.
Faith encouragement — using the App's daily notifications and reflection prompts to maintain a consistent prayer and study routine.

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App for any of the following:

3.1 Unlawful Activity

Using the App in any manner that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App, its servers, or related systems.

3.2 Misrepresentation

Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely claiming an affiliation with any church, religious organisation, or the Christians Palace team.
Misrepresenting the App's content as your own original work for commercial gain.

3.3 Interference and Abuse

Reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code of the App.
Uploading, transmitting, or distributing any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data that could interfere with the App's functionality.
Attempting to overload, disrupt, or impair the App's services or backend infrastructure.

3.4 Unauthorised Commercial Use

Selling, reselling, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting any part of the App or its content (Bible text, reflection writings, quiz questions, story content, puzzle and game data) without our express written permission.
Using the App's content to develop a competing product or service without authorisation.

3.5 Inappropriate Content Sharing

Using screenshots, recordings, or exports of App content in ways that demean, mock, or misrepresent the Christian faith or Scripture.
Distributing App content alongside harmful, discriminatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material.

4. Content Standards

All content within Christians Palace — including Bible passages, daily reflections, Bible stories, quiz questions, word-search puzzles, and Scripture Scribe challenges — is sourced or derived from Scripture and is intended to be consistent with mainstream Christian teaching.

Scripture text is presented faithfully and without doctrinal distortion.
Reflections and devotional writing are provided for general Christian edification and are not intended to replace pastoral care, professional counselling, or theological instruction from your local church.
Quiz and puzzle content is designed to be educational and spiritually enriching for adult audiences.

We do not endorse any specific denomination, church, or theological tradition beyond the broadly shared tenets of the Christian faith.

5. Notifications

The App may send daily push notifications, including a Daily Reflection (7:00 AM) and a Daily Challenge (12:00 PM), if you grant notification permission. You may disable notifications at any time through your device's system settings. Notifications are strictly devotional and informational — they will never be used for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes.

6. Age Requirement

Christians Palace is intended for users aged 18 and over. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Users under 18 are not permitted to use the App. If you believe a minor has accessed the App, please contact us at info@christianspalace.org.

7. Intellectual Property

All original content in the App — including devotional reflections, story adaptations, quiz questions, puzzle and game level designs, artwork, and branding — is the intellectual property of the Christians Palace team and is protected by applicable copyright law. Scripture quotations are used under fair use or public domain provisions as applicable to the translation used.

You may:

Quote short passages from the App's content for personal, non-commercial devotional sharing (e.g. sharing a daily verse with friends).

You may not:

Reproduce, republish, or distribute substantial portions of the App's content in any medium without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Christians Palace is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.
The content will meet your specific spiritual, theological, or educational requirements.
Notifications will be delivered at all times on all devices.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the App updated, accurate, and functional, but we accept no liability for any interruption, inaccuracy, or loss arising from your use of the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Christians Palace and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any other intangible losses.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the Last Updated date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

11. Enforcement

Violation of this Policy may result in suspension or termination of your access to the App. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any use we reasonably believe violates this Policy or is harmful to users, third parties, or the integrity of the App.
